Detailed Activities
The context of the FAR from Home project is professional but informal based on different artistic disciplines such as dance, theatre, film and circus. We believe in the power of working in interdisciplinary ways in a very diverse group. The project structure will allow all participants to get involved and express their ideas throughout the project.

The first 5 days will consist of workshops that will focus on different methods and techniques of how to tackle social issues with the tools of art in a participatory manner. All the workshops are designed to offer useful skills and competences to the participants such as: professional development in different art disciplines, and leadership skills on how to implement workshops and participatory pieces.

Afterwards we divide the participants into groups of 5. Each group will develop their own workshop/participatory performance that will then be touring in different high schools in Hungary for a couple of days. This will ensure that not only you can take part in workshops, but will actually indicate change regarding the topic.

After taking the workshops to the schools, we will open up the programme to the wider public in a form of an open day/mini festival where we will go around the topics of the project through different activities. Then we will close the project with a final evaluation day.

The working language of the training will be English.
